Terms of service

Last updated

These terms are the agreement between you and Bazuvo, of Banasree, Rampura, Dhaka 1219, Bangladesh (“Bazuvo”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you create an account, run a store on Bazuvo or buy a plan or a licence. If you use Bazuvo for a business, you accept them for that business.

If something here is unclear, call us on +880 1911-262495 or write to [email protected] before you sign up.

1. What Bazuvo is

Bazuvo is software for running an online store or marketplace: a storefront, a checkout, an admin panel and connections to payment gateways and couriers. We host it for you. You run your business with it; we do not sell to your customers, and we are not a party to the sales you make.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
  • Give us true details when you register, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password and your two-factor sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what your staff do with the access you give them.
  • Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

An account can own one or more stores. Each store is a separate business on Bazuvo with its own data.

3. The free trial

You can try a plan free for 14 days without a payment method. Each organization gets one trial. When the trial ends, the store asks you to choose a plan and pay before it carries on; nothing is charged automatically.

4. Plans, prices and payment

  • Prices. The price of each plan is shown on our pricing page and, for your country and currency, on the Plan page in your admin. The Plan page is the price you pay.
  • Billing period. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. A lifetime licence is paid once.
  • Paying. You can pay by bKash, SSLCommerz, an international card through Stripe or bank transfer. If you keep a balance in your account, each bill is taken from it first.
  • VAT and tax. Prices are shown before VAT. Where VAT applies, it is added to your bill and shown on your tax invoice.
  • Changing plan. An upgrade starts at once and you pay the difference for the days left in the period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Price changes. We may change the price of a plan. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it applies from your next billing period. You can cancel before then.
  • Fees on your sales. We do not take a share of your sales unless your plan says so on the pricing page. Your payment gateways and couriers charge their own fees under their own terms.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

5. If a payment is missed

We remind you by email 7 days and 3 days before a bill is due. If a bill stays unpaid:

  1. After 14 days the admin cannot create new things, but your storefront, checkout and existing orders keep working.
  2. After 30 days the storefront shows a closed page. You can still sign in, pay, export your data and see your bills.
  3. After 60 days the subscription is cancelled.
  4. 180 days after cancellation the store and its data are deleted for good.

Paying everything you owe at any point before deletion opens the store again as you left it.

6. Limits

Each plan has limits, such as the number of products, staff accounts or orders a month, shown on the pricing page and on the Usage page in your admin. At a limit, Bazuvo stops you adding more of that thing and tells you why. It never deletes or hides what you already have. Upgrading lifts the limit at once.

7. Lifetime licences

A lifetime licence gives one store the plan it names, for as long as Bazuvo offers the service, without a monthly or yearly bill.

  • It covers the plan’s modules and limits as they were on the day you activated it. Modules we add later are not included unless we say so.
  • One licence activates one store. Only we can move a licence to another store, at your request.
  • If a store has both a licence and a subscription, the larger of the two applies, and you can cancel the subscription.
  • “Lifetime” means the life of the Bazuvo service, not your life or ours. If we ever close the service, we will give at least 90 days’ notice and help you export your data.

8. Your content and your data

Everything you put into your store stays yours: products, pictures, pages, customers, orders and anything else (“your content”). You give us permission to store, copy and display it only so far as we need to run the service for you.

You can export your products, customers and stock as sheets at any time, including while a bill is unpaid.

When your store collects your customers’ personal details, you decide what is collected and why, and we process it on your behalf. Our privacy policy explains how.

9. What you must not do

Do not use Bazuvo to:

  • sell anything that is illegal in Bangladesh or in the place you sell to, including counterfeit goods and medicines sold without the approval the law requires;
  • mislead or defraud buyers, or take payment for goods you do not intend to send;
  • send spam, or email people who have not agreed to hear from you;
  • upload malware, or try to break into Bazuvo, another store or anyone’s account;
  • overload the service on purpose, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

If a store breaks these rules, we may suspend it. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

10. Our responsibilities

We work to keep Bazuvo available, secure and backed up, and to fix problems quickly. We do not promise that it will never be interrupted: maintenance, problems at our hosting providers and failures of services we connect to (payment gateways, couriers, email providers) can affect it.

Payment gateways, couriers and other services you connect are provided by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for what they do.

11. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or indirect loss. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Ending the service

  • You can cancel at any time from the Plan page. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We can end the service for a store that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, with notice where we can give it.

After a store ends, you can still export your data until it is deleted under section 5.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If we disagree, please talk to us first; most problems are solved by a phone call. If we cannot settle it, the courts of Dhaka will decide.
