For marketplaces

Bring in sellers by the hundredand keep every one of them honest, on time and paid.

A marketplace is a store and a business of sellers at once. Bazuva runs both: sellers apply and send their papers, sell from a portal of their own, and are paid on your schedule, while you decide what is listed, what is earned and who keeps selling.

  • Seller applications
  • Products reviewed
  • Commission and VAT
  • Scheduled payouts

The difference

Selling for other people is easy to start. Settling with them is the hard part.

Running it by hand

With Bazuva

  • Sellers send their trade licence and bank details by email, and nobody knows who is ready.

Each seller applies, uploads the papers you ask for and adds a payout account, and you verify each one.

  • Sellers' products go live as they are typed, and a fake brand is found by a buyer.

New products and edits wait for review, and protected brands need an authorisation you have checked.

  • Commission is worked out in a sheet at the end of the month, and refunds break it.

Each sale's commission and VAT is fixed when it is placed, earned at delivery and reversed by a refund.

  • Payouts are typed into the bank's portal, and sellers call to ask what they cover.

A payout batch is prepared on your schedule as your bank's sheet, with a monthly statement for every seller.

Sellers who apply

Open the doors to sellers, and decide who comes in.

Turn on applications and a Sell with us page appears on your store. Applicants say who they are and what they sell; you approve, send back with a note or turn down. Approved sellers upload the documents you ask for their kind of business and add a bank or mobile wallet account, and they cannot go live until you have verified both.

  • Documents asked per kind of business, such as NID, trade licence and TIN
  • Document numbers encrypted and masked, files kept private
  • Payout accounts by bank transfer, bKash, Nagad or Rocket
  • Sellers' teams invited by email, with roles of their own

What is listed

Nothing goes live on your marketplace without your say.

A seller's new product waits in your review queue, and an edit to a live product waits beside it while the live version stays on sale. Trusted sellers can skip the queue. Mark a brand or a category as protected, and a seller lists in it only after you have verified their authorisation.

  • Review every product, only untrusted sellers', or none
  • An edit shown as before and after, the live version kept
  • Price and stock changes go through at once
  • Protected brands and categories need a verified authorisation

Commission and payouts

Every taka a seller earns, worked out once and paid on schedule.

Set commission and fees by seller, category, product, payment method or price band, with a least and a most. Each sale's share is fixed when the order is placed, and becomes payable only after delivery, your holding days and the money's arrival from the courier or the gateway. Payouts are prepared weekly or as you choose, exported as your bank's or wallet's bulk sheet, and closed with the bank's return file.

  • Commission rules with dates, so a change never rewrites the past
  • VAT on commission and fees, at a dated rate
  • A minimum payout, a rolling reserve and refunds taken back
  • Monthly statements and commission invoices for every seller

Seller performance

Know which sellers keep their promises, without chasing them.

A seller has 48 hours, or the time you set, to hand each order over. Every seller has a scorecard of hand-overs on time, cancellations of their own doing and returns, beside their rating and how fast they answer questions. Past your first limit a seller is on warning; past the second, suspended, unless you turn that off.

  • A hand-over clock on every seller's part of an order
  • Late, cancelled and returned shares against your limits
  • Rating and answer time shown beside the score
  • Warning and suspension by the scorecard, or by you

Questions about running a marketplace

Can I start as a single store and add sellers later?

Yes. Every store starts with one seller, your own. Switch to many sellers when you are ready, and your products stay as they are.

Does Bazuva hold the sellers' money?

No. Buyers pay into your own payment and courier accounts. Bazuva works out what each seller has earned and prepares the payout sheet, and you pay it through your bank or business wallet.

What happens when an order is refunded after a seller was paid?

The refund takes back the seller's share and the commission with it. A balance below zero is recovered from the next payout.

Can a buyer order from several sellers at once?

Yes. The buyer has one cart, one checkout and one order. Each seller sees and ships only their own part of it.
