The difference

Bangla should not be a translation bolted on at the end.

Without Bazuva

With Bazuva

  • Buttons and checkout words are fixed in English, or translated by a plugin that misses half.

Every word on every screen comes in English and Bangla, and you can reword any of them for your store.

  • A Bangla product name becomes an address full of percent signs, or a guess in Latin letters.

Addresses keep the script of the name, so জামদানি-শাড়ি reads as it is written.

  • A second language means a second copy of every product and page to keep in step.

Each product, page and email carries its translations beside the original, edited in one place.

  • A buyer who signed up in Bangla gets English emails because staff work in English.

Emails go out in the language of the person who reads them, whoever caused them.

Your own wording

Change any word your buyers or your team read.

Prefer "ব্যাগে রাখুন" to "কার্টে যোগ করুন"? Change it in settings, on the translations screen, or on the page itself, where every text shows which message it comes from. Your wording sits above the platform's, so updates never overwrite it.

  • Change words in settings, on the translations screen, or on the page
  • Your store's wording kept above the platform's
  • Dates, numbers and money in each language's digits
  • Wording exported and imported as a sheet

Translated content

One product, its words in every language you sell in.

Product names and descriptions, categories, pages, posts, menu items, form questions, coupons, picture captions and your own custom fields each keep their translations beside the original. Choose the languages your store uses from the 17 registered, and see what is still waiting to be translated.

  • Products, pages, posts, menus, forms and more
  • Content language chosen apart from the screen language
  • What is left to translate, per language
  • Translations exported and imported in one go

Addresses and digits

Bangla names, Bangla addresses, Bangla digits.

A product called জামদানি শাড়ি lives at an address written in Bangla, and a name already taken gets a number added. Prices, dates and quantities follow the reader's choice of digits. You decide how addresses are made: the divider, the length, and the words to leave out.

  • Page addresses in the script of their name
  • Bangla or Latin digits, chosen by each person
  • Address rules: divider, length and words left out
  • Changing a name never breaks an existing link

The reader's language

Every email in the language of the person who reads it.

A buyer who signs up on your Bangla pages gets their emails in Bangla from then on, even when a staff member working in English edits their order. Messages, refusals and checks from the store are said in the reader's language too.

  • Emails in the recipient's language
  • The first email in the language they signed up in
  • Error messages in the language of the screen
  • Each person sets their own language and digits

Questions about languages

Which languages does Bazuva come in?

Your store and your team's screens come written in English and Bangla. Your own content, such as products, pages and emails, can be translated into any of 17 languages, including Hindi, Nepali, Urdu, Tamil, Sinhala, Arabic, Malay and Indonesian.

Can I use a language other than English and Bangla for the screens?

Yes. Put the language in use and write its wording on the translations screen, or import it as a sheet. Every message is listed, so nothing is missed.

Will Bangla product names break my links?

No. Addresses keep the Bangla script and read cleanly in the browser. If you rename a product later, its existing address is not rewritten, so shared links keep working.

Do right-to-left languages work?

Yes. Urdu, Arabic and Dhivehi turn the layout around, and menus and panels open from the side a line starts on.

Can my staff work in English while buyers read Bangla?

Yes. Each person chooses their own language. Emails always go out in the language of the person who receives them.
